Okay so you have gotten messages about the world ending in 2012 or 2011 right?

But to me the world ended a long time ago , you know why ?

Look around there are theft , rapes , robberies and murders.

I can't even sleep at night knowing all that is happening you know I pray to God every day saying please keep me and my family safe.

Because my aunty was robbed, and they took her jewellery everything even her shampoo!

Now the economy is bad I try to stay in the house as much as possible as I am scared that if I walk out through that door something bad will happen.

So please try to stop all these thingsand let the world start over again.

Unemployed Graduate

UNEMPLOYED GRADUATE:

An unemployed graduate woke up one morning and checked his
pocket. All he had left was $10. He decided to use it to buy
food and then wait for death as he was too proud to go
begging.. He was frustrated as he could find no job, and
nobody was ready to help him.

He bought food and as he sat down to eat, an old man and
two little children came along and asked him to help them
with food as they had not eaten for almost a week. He
Looked at them. They were so lean that he could see their
bones coming out. Their eyes had gone into the socket. With
the last bit of compassion he had, he gave them the food.
The old man and children prayed that God would bless and
prosper him and then gave him a very old coin. The young
graduate said to them 'you need the prayer more than I
do'.

With no money, no job, no food, the young graduate went
under the bridge to rest and wait for death. As he was about
to sleep, he saw an old newspaper on the ground. He picked
it up, and suddenly he saw an advertisement for people with
old coins to come to a certain address.

He decided to go there with the old coin the old man gave
him. On getting to the place, he gave the proprietor the
coin. The proprietor screamed, brought out a big book and
showed the young graduate a photograph. This same old coin
was worth 3 million dollars. The young graduate was
overjoyed as the proprietor gave him a bank draft for 3
million dollars within an hour. He collected the Bank Draft
and went in search of the old man and little children.

By the time he got to where he left them eating, they had
gone. He asked the owner of the canteen if he knew them. He
said no but they left a note for you. He quickly opened the
note thinking it would lead him to find them.

This is what the note said: 'You gave us your all and
we have rewarded you back with the coin,' signed God the
Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. 1 Kings 17:10-16;

The old man slowly looked up. This was a woman clearly accustomed to the finer things of life. Her coat was new. She looked like she had never missed a meal in her life. His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before. 'Leave me alone,' he growled.

To his amazement, the woman continued standing. She was smiling -- her even white teeth displayed in dazzling rows. 'Are you hungry?' she asked. 'No,' he answered sarcastically. 'I've just come from dining with the President. Now go away.'

The woman's smile became even broader. Suddenly the man felt a gentle hand under his arm. 'What are you doing, lady?' the man asked angrily. 'I said to leave me alone.'

Just then a policeman came up. 'Is there any problem, ma'am?' he asked. 'No problem here, officer,' the woman answered. 'I'm just trying to get this man to his feet. Will you help me?'

The officer scratched his head. 'That's old Jack. He's been a fixture around here for a couple of years. What do you want with him?'

'See that cafeteria over there?' she asked. 'I'm going to get him something to eat and get him out of the cold for awhile.'

'Are you crazy, lady?' the homeless man resisted. 'I don't want to go in there!'

Then he felt strong hands grab his other arm and lift him up. 'Let me go, officer. I didn't do anything.'

'This is a good deal for you, Jack,' the officer answered. 'Don't blow it.'

Finally, and with some difficulty, the woman and the police officer got Jack into the cafeteria and sat him at a table in a remote corner. It was the middle of the morning, so most of the breakfast crowd had already left and the lunch bunch hadn't yet arrived.

The manager strode across the cafeteria and stood by his table. 'What's going on here, officer?' he asked. 'What is all this. Is this man in trouble?'

'This lady brought this man in here to be fed,' the policeman answered.

'Not in here!' the manager replied angrily. 'Having a person like that here is bad for business.'

Old Jack smiled a toothless grin. 'See, lady. I told you so. Now if you'll let me go. I didn't want to come here in the first place.'

The woman turned to the cafeteria manager and smiled. 'Sir, are you familiar with Eddy and Associates, the banking firm down the street?'

'Of course I am,' the manager answered impatiently. 'They hold their weekly meetings in one of my banquet rooms.'

'And do you make a goodly amount of money providing food at these weekly meetings?'

'What business is that of yours?'

'I, sir, am Penelope Eddy, president and CEO of the company.'

'Oh.'

The woman smiled again. 'I thought that might make a difference.' She glanced at the cop who was busy stifling a giggle. 'Would you like to join us in a cup of coffee and a meal, officer?'

'No thanks, ma'am,' the officer replied. 'I'm on duty.'

'Then, perhaps, a cup of coffee to go?'

'Yes, ma'am. That would be very nice.'

The cafeteria manager turned on his heel. 'I'll get your coffee for you right away, officer.'

The officer watched him walk away. 'You certainly put him in his place,' he said.

'That was not my intent. Believe it or not, I have a reason for all this.'

She sat down at the table across from her amazed dinner guest. She stared at him intently. 'Jack, do you remember me?'

Old Jack searched her face with his old, rheumy eyes. 'I think so - I mean you do look familiar'

'I'm a little older perhaps,' she said. 'Maybe I've even filled out more than in my younger days when you worked here, and I came through that very door, cold and hungry.'

'Ma'am?' the officer said questioningly. He couldn't believe that such a magnificently turned out woman could ever have been hungry.

'I was just out of college,' the woman began. 'I had come to the city looking for a job, but I couldn't find anything. Finally I was down to my last few cents and had been kicked out of my apartment. I walked the streets for days. It was February and I was cold and nearly starving. I saw this place and walked in on the off chance that I could get something to eat.'

Jack lit up with a smile. 'Now I remember,' he said. 'I was behind the serving counter. You came up and asked me if you could work for something to eat. I said that it was against company policy.'

'I know,' the woman continued. 'Then you made me the biggest roast beef sandwich that I had ever seen, gave me a cup of coffee, and told me to go over to a corner table and enjoy it. I was afraid that you would get into trouble. Then, when I looked over, I saw you put the price of my food in the cash register I knew then that everything would be all right.'

'So you started your own business?' Old Jack said.

'I got a job that very afternoon. I worked my way up. eventually I started my own business that, with the help of God, prospered.' She opened her purse and pulled out a business card. 'When you are finished here, I want you to pay a visit to a Mr. Lyons. He's the personnel director of my company. I'll go talk to him now and I'm certain he'll find something for you to do around the office.' She smiled. 'I think he might even find the funds to give you a little advance so that you can buy some clothes and get a place to live until you get on your feet. If you ever need anything, my door is always open to you.'

There were tears in the old man's eyes. 'How can I ever thank you?' he said.

'Don't thank me,' the woman answered. 'To God goes the glory. Thank Jesus. He led me to you.'

Outside the cafeteria, the officer and the woman paused at the entrance before going their separate ways. 'Thank you for all your help, officer,' she said.

'On the contrary, Ms. Eddy,' he answered. 'Thank you. I saw a miracle today, something that I will never forget. and... and thank you for the coffee.'

This is a new drug known as 'strawberry quick '.
There is a very scary thing going on in the schools right now that we all need to be aware of.

There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks (the candy that sizzles and 'pops' in your mouth). It also smells like strawberry and it is being handed out to kids in school yards. They are calling it strawberry meth or strawberry quick.

Kids are ingesting this thinking that it is candy and being rushed off to the hospital in dire condition. It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange.

Please instruct your children not to accept candy from strangers and even not to accept candy that looks like this from a friend (who may have been given it and believed it is candy) and to take any that they may have to a teacher, principal, etc. immediately.

I don't have time for this... And, this is really inappropriate during work.

We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning...

And the unlikely event of a midweek service.
We do like to have Him around during sickness...

And, of course, at funerals.

However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play...

Because.. That's the part of our lives we think... We can, and should, handle on our own.

May God forgive me for ever thinking...

HE is not to be FIRST in my life.

We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.

Headache Cure

Looking like giant leaves floating in the sea, thousands of Golden Rays

are seen here gathering off the coast of Mexico,

off the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula,

gliding silently beneath the waves, turning vast areas of blue water to gold.

These magnificent creatures are making one of their

biannual mass migrations to more agreeable waters.

The spectacular scene was captured by Sandra Critelli, an amateur photographer,

stumbled across the phenomenon while looking for whale sharks.

'It's hard to say exactly how many there were,

but in the range of a few thousand'

She said: 'It was an unreal image, very difficult to describe.

The surface of the water was covered by warm and different shades of gold

and looked like a bed of autumn leaves gently moved by the wind.

'We were surrounded by them without seeing the edge of the school

and we could see many under the water surface too.

I feel very fortunate I was there in the right place

at the right time to experience nature at its best'

Golden rays are also more prosaically known as cow nose rays.

They have long, pointed pectoral fins that separate

During Chinese New Year after the incident I wasn't allowed in the mahjong room because it was full so I went to the tv room instead and guess what I found, a 1000 ringgit on the floor!
I ran out and shouted Wait! Everybody looked at me I said " Who left the 1000 ringgit here!?"
Everybody was like ooo.... Then one aunty came and said it was hers and I just smiled and gave it to her. Another aunty patted my head and smiled while I smiled back.

Okay this is what happened in Part 3, she said sorry I said okay so everybody is happy now because she told me " I threw the money on the floor and you did not take it", then I said " It's okay"" Let us not fight anymore okay", she said " Okay". All well's end's well's ( maybe ) because I think the other cousin still hates me secretly but who cares it is her loss right.

Why? Part 2

Hey this is E.C.,

G.C. is a bit lazy and does not know how to do this so she won't be typing messages that much okay.

Okay this is what happened after the sleep over, I went to the cousin who lied house, and played black jack because my father allowed me to just for that day unless I play with him so it is okay. I played and won they complained again just because I won two ringgit, one of the cousins did not have money so he borrowed from the other cousin and lost everything. I saw all of them both angry and sad so I gave them back their money, one of the cousins ( before I gave back the money) threw the money on the floor so when she asked me for her money back I said " But you did not even give me money" and she said " I gave it to you", I said " No". Then she took back her cards because she did not want to play anymore. I went down looking for the cousin who lied and I told her" Your money ", but she did not respond she just continued taking her ice- cream. I said again" Your money', then she shouted back "I know la can you see am doing my ice- cream.

I walked away. I did not know what was going on but it was like everybody hated me so I sat there with my mother telling her what happened while I we were playing. She looked at me and said " It is okay". I tried to smile but ended up shedding tears.

She said " Do not start the nonsense again", I did not say anything so I just at there silently trying to stop the tears from coming out. Then the cousin who lied mother came to me and asked "Why", I said "Nothing", while trying to hold my tears back. So, she went to her daughter and I could not hear her anymore.

I talked to my cousins which are older and I felt a bit better. The cousin father which cried told everybody that he was going to be the banker of the game. So everybody joined in I looked at my dad and he said " Here", he gave me money I smiled and then played for a while.

I went home after playing for 20 minutes. I was feeling much better.

Hi, this is E.C.,

Okay today's topic is why cousins can drive you mad and insane( little ones)!

So it began with me gambling not really but with 1 ringgit only, let us say I was the banker and we were playing 21( black jack) and I won their money. Two of the cousins complained while the other three did not, so I said if you lose your money do not complain cause you want to play so one stayed the other left.

After that, my dad took us to Baskin Robbins for ice-cream.When we came back I could not find my money so I asked for help then they said they would do it under one condition they would play 21 with me for no money cause I was winning money then I said okay. When we looked we split into teams the cousin who stayed was with me she said when they were eating ice-cream the cousin who left said she did not like me just because I won their money. I said never mind but I was still sad. then they found my money they went up to get ready their cards while I burst into tears two of the cousins saw me the asked why, I said nothing.

Then my brother called me and said the cousin who told me the 0ther cousins did not like me said i was cheating her out of her money, I paused and said no with anger and sadness. I went up and I did not know what to do so i ran they did not see me I burst into tears that same night.

The two cousins saw me and asked why I said nothing again. My brother called the rest of the cousins up for a talk he asked the cousin who lied about me "You said she cheated your money right" he said with no anger, then she said "Yes", he asked "Did you see her shuffle the cards", She paused and said"Yes", he said " Then why did you say she cheated""How could she cheat anyway".

He told my mother after that and she told me " No more gambling", my heart was beating fast I was silent and ran up I went to my room and burst into million of tears that same night. The cousins all of them asked "Why", I said " I am not blaming anybody but her name told the lie about me and now I can't gamble anymore!", she stood there silent, while I continued crying.

She looked at me and said" I am sorry ", I just went down and watched some TV with the cousins. My father found her crying, he took her into the TV room while I sat there silently. I was used to her crying because whenever anything big or small happened to her she just cried even when my brother just looked at her she started crying.

So they all slept over did not really sleep because my brother came into the room and gambled in front of me with my cousins so I tried to sleep but ended up shedding some tears when my brother left I talked to the older cousin who is 22 while watching TV and telling ghost stories what had happened.
